11th Symposium Baustatik - Baupraxis

This conference will take place in Austria for the first time in 2011. The conference at the University of Innsbruck will focus on the following topics: - Building in existing structures - Building with new materials - Bridge structures - Renewable energies - Lightweight load-bearing structures - Safe energy supply - Safety of construction and infrastructure - Structural analysis on the overall model - Structural analysis in tunnelling - Trans-European transport networks. As one of the main aims of this conference is to promote direct contact and the exchange of ideas between universities and construction practice, the programme includes lectures by engineers working in the field as well as the presentation of new research results from university institutes.
