Our Conferences / Symposiums
The conference Baustatik – Baupraxishas been held every three years since 1981 at different university locations. The event is organised by the research association Baustatik - Baupraxis e.V. represented by the chairs and institutes for statics in German-speaking countries.
The Baustatik – Baupraxis conference is intended as a forum for a dialogue between engineers working in practice and university research, in which current developments for calculation methods and design concepts as well as challenges in current construction projects are discussed. The conference recognises the interdisciplinary nature of the field of "Structural Analysis" by offering an attractive range of topic-specific lecture blocks.
